Volunteer With Us
Despite increasing world trade and globalization, tens of millions of children and villagers still live without adequate access to healthcare, clean water, food or education. We cannot predict what will happen to us tomorrow, but today we must have love and compassion to help these children in need. Action is necessary to alleviate the poverty that still affects many in our world. Since Le Ly Hayslip founded both of her foundations, her commitment towards peace, education and reconciliation through volunteer networks has inspired so many. Child by child, school by school, village by village, one step at a time, she inspires others to aid those that suffer from poverty and the injustices of war so that they become educated and self-sufficient.

  Located on the south central
coast of Vietnam, Quang Nam Province is home to roughly 1.4 million
inhabitants living within an area of 10,408 square km with a per capita
income of 270 USD (2005)--significantly lower than the national average
of 636 USD. In this province frequently susceptible to
seasonal flooding, and plagued by a lack of funding for education,
Global Village Foundation is stepping in with the support of our local
and international donors and volunteers to address the pressing housing
and education development needs.
