Mobile Library and Teacher Training Workshops
Opening the minds of children through books.
Throughout schools located in rural areas of central Vietnam, GVF’s Mobile Library and teacher training program introduces primary school-aged children to the joys of reading for pleasure. Each Mobile Library book box contains 300 books for children to enjoy for use at school, at home, and at book fairs and read-a-thons.
Every box contains books with subjects ranging from geography and history to short stories, with enough books for every grade from first to fifth. We have established our mobile libraries in schools throughout Da Nang and Quang Nam Province. With your help, GVF plans to spread the joy of reading to children all across Vietnam in 2014 and beyond.
